Brazilian Type Sounds

Series of typography posters about Brazilian songs

Inspired by the work of the designer and illustrator Paula Cruz, Modernismo Funkeiro, we took classic songs from Brazilian culture, the super traditional and root ones, and transformed them into this design project that was made with extra love. Our goal was to highlight the most striking verse of each song and we played with their meanings. We explored the countless possibilities of a variable font with a vibrant color palette. In addition, we followed a defined grid to maintain the unity of the series. A tribute to our rich and fun culture, we hope it will warm the hearts of all of you!
